You will have access to a range of modules covering various research methodologies and key concepts relevant to health services research.The Full-time duration is 2 – 4 years Part time: 3 – 7 years and PhD by prior publication: 1 – 2 years.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements vary by subject area. Applicants should approach academic staff working in their area of interest to discuss their proposal ahead of submitting an application. Applicants should normally hold an upper second class honours degree or the equivalent from an international institution. Where the applicants academic profile shows no evidence of training in research methods, it will normally be recommended that students first complete an MSc or MRes programme to prepare them for MPhil/PhD studies. Substantial employment or research experience may be considered for some subject areas alongside or in place of academic qualifications.
