If you have taken the English Bar Professional Vocational Studies (BVS) or Legal Practice Course (LPC) or have legal qualifications in another jurisdiction, it will develop your understanding of practice and enhance your career.

If you have legal qualifications in another jurisdiction it will provide understanding of legal process in England. You can enrol in the course straight after a law degree, although some experience of legal practice is an advantage.

Modules

This module includes 30 or 60 credits. You will be required to complete a dissertation in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Depending on whether you choose 4 or 5 elective modules, the dissertation module will be either 30 or 60 credits.

Entry requirements

We are interested in receiving applications from individuals with at least an upper second-class honours undergraduate degree in law (roughly equivalent to a B or B+) from a recognised international institution. Applicants with a good undergraduate degree in another subject will also be considered.
