An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in a biological sciences discipline. It is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of microbiology, and we would expect to see the study of one or more of the following modules in the final year of your undergraduate degree: microbiology and virology, biochemistry or infection control.
