The Global Online MBA is a part-time programme, delivered in a distance learning online format that enables you to advance your career whilst studying at a global top 10 university.

We have updated our programme to give you more choice in tailoring your MBA with flexcore and elective modules. We have added powerful new modules in analytics, entrepreneurship and marketing, adding to your options in finance, leadership and strategy. And you can now choose to complete the programme in 21, 24 or 32 months.

This highly interactive, online MBA is designed by our in-house technology educational specialists. Studying via our online learning platform, you will learn from world-class faculty at the Business School, whose academic excellence and industry knowledge will enrich your MBA experience.

You will meet your class and faculty on campus in London during induction week and the programme’s capstone module, and you can participate in electives we offer in global locations.

Global Online MBA programme content

The Global Online MBA is a part-time programme that is delivered in an online format, focusing on innovative thinking and new technology to deliver a practical curriculum.

The programme offers several possible completion points at 21 months (early), 24 months (standard) or 32 months (extended), allowing you to complete the programme at your own pace. The number of modules to be completed remains constant, regardless of the chosen exit point.

The programme consists of pre-study modules, core modules, flexcore modules and electives. All online modules have been carefully designed for online study via The Hub and are taught over 10 weeks. In addition, you can take up to two classroom elective modules on campus – many taught in concentrated multi-day blocks – together with students on our other MBA programmes.

With our wide range of flexcore and elective modules, you can tailor your curriculum to suit your personal interests. Optionally, you can specialise in areas such as Business Analytics and Operations, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Leadership and Organisation, Marketing or Strategy, and have this specialisation certified for your employer.*

Our programmes are intensive periods of study. Contact hours form only part of the activity that you will be asked to undertake. You will be required to devote time preparing for lectures, undertaking background reading, completing assessments, and revising for exams, as well as working in timezone-based virtual syndicate groups to undertake group work and live presentations.

A significant amount of time will also need to be allocated to career planning and development as well as becoming an active contributor to?the Business School community.

Employment data is based on employment activity of the Global Online MBA class of 2020 within four months of graduation.


This module develops a general management viewpoint in planning and evaluating marketing decisions, from both strategic (e.g. market selection, firm objective, etc.) and tactical (e.g. promotion, pricing, etc.) perspectives. The module will also help you to understand how marketing decisions are affected by organisational and environmental influences.

Entry requirements

Students will normally need one of the following: At least a Lower Second Class Honours degree OR international equivalent An acceptable professional qualification: Full membership of Any Institute of Chartered Accountants in the UK or Ireland Full membership of Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting; Associateship or Fellowship of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA); Full membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Five years’ relevant postgraduate work experience; however, candidates with a minimum of three years’ relevant experience can be exceptionally considered.
