  • Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental finance theories and models and their use and context in real financial markets
  • Apply mathematical tools to complex financial problems including the pricing of financial instruments and products.
  • Use a range of programming tools to develop live implementations of financial models and use these implementations in practical simulations.
  • Apply econometric theory and software to analyse and evaluate investment decisions and data, and draw valid conclusions.

Modules

The aim and learning outcomes of this study trip is to provide students with international experience within an EU centre of business, and to facilitate the current and future alumni networks of the student cohort. The first day will likely comprise company visits, panel discussions and/or guest speaker presentations from within the financial and investment sectors. The second day will comprise a team-building activity with emphasis on developing personal skills and networking.

Entry requirements

Academic requirement – quantitative undergraduate degree at First or 2:1 Honours (or international equivalent); To apply for MSc Finance, you should preferably have a First Class Honours degree from a recognised university. We will also consider applicants with an Upper Second Class Honours degree from a recognised university or the international equivalent.
