Overview

The Master of Public Health (MPH) course is a multidisciplinary course of study that aims to provide graduates and holders of relevant medical or non- medical professional qualifications with the advanced academic background required for leadership roles in public health. The course covers the breadth of public health.

Course detail

We use lectures, seminars and group tutorials to deliver most of the modules on the course. You will also be expected to undertake a significant amount of independent study.

Teaching and assessment

This course is primarily taught at the King’s College London Guy’s Campus. Please note that locations are determined by where each module is taught and may vary depending on the optional modules you select. We will use a delivery method that will ensure students have a rich, exciting experience from the start. Face to face teaching will be complemented and supported with innovative technology so that students also experience elements of digital learning and assessment.

Entry requirements

Students should have Bachelor’s degree with 2:1 honours is normally required. Applicants with a 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) will be considered where they offer significant work experience in a related field. A degree level professional qualification in an appropriate subject, normally with some experience in the broad field of public health (or primary care for MPH (Primary Care) applicants) will also be considered.
