Course Summary

Become a change maker for social justice in education. This research-led course will help you to develop knowledge and practice expertise in your chosen area. This master’s programme will inform your educational practice. You’ll choose from one of the following study pathways*: MA Education MA Education with Early Years As part of this course, you’ll: Develop your knowledge of contemporary debates and challenges within global education contexts Evaluate and apply key theoretical concepts to help you understand challenges throughout education, childhood and early years Critically analyse key inequalities within education, including but not limited to global inequalities, race, gender and sexuality, disability, and social class Develop a researcher perspective on education and allied disciplines/professions, focusing on knowledge development and critical reflexive practice Plan and conduct independent research, demonstrating sound methodological choices, critical analysis, and application of key concepts to a problem or area of practice
