Our MSc International Business was developed in response to a growing need from employers for business and management graduates with an international perspective and the skills to operate effectively in a globalised and multicultural world.

The programme is ideal for graduates who are keen to develop a deep understanding of international business theory and practice, and to develop key competencies for a career in multinational companies or companies engaged in international business. The master's will provide you with a stimulating educational experience that promotes a global outlook - vital for today’s global business environment.

Informed by cutting-edge research, you will develop highly sought-after intercultural skills and a global mindset. This master's in International Business prepares you to work confidently and effectively with global partners and enhance organisational performance in today’s global economy.

Taught by world-class scholars and guest speakers from industry, you will develop a deep understanding of cross-cultural differences, intercultural communication and leadership, internationally distributed collaborations, international human resource management, and international strategic decision-making. You will also develop actionable knowledge of the global business environment, international business negotiations, global sourcing models, international supply chains, global social entrepreneurship and digital innovations in global markets.

Through the X-Culture Project optional module you will have the opportunity to study as part of an international virtual team, allowing you to develop your own intercultural experience first hand and to apply your newly acquired knowledge in real life situations.


The module aims to equip students with an in depth knowledge of the innovation process, its importance to the economy and an understanding of the factors affecting its success. We will also study the academic theories of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behaviour and how these relate to the innovation process.
