Modules

The aim of this module is to provide students with the opportunity to work as a team on a business analytics projects in which they apply their domain knowledge and analytics skills with regards to data collection, management, analysis, and visualisation. Where possible these projects will involve real organisation (for instance commercial, not-for-profit or public sector etc), giving students the chance to apply their skills in a real business environment. Projects may also have a research focus. Finally students will be also be given the opportunity to propose projects, after consultation with the module leader.

Entry requirements

A 2:1 honours degree from a UK university, or international equivalent. Typically, you will have a business background and sufficient competence in statistics (eg probability theory, statistical inference, hypothesis testing, simple regressions) or a computing or mathematics/statistics background.
