The MRes is ideal if you are planning to undertake doctoral-level study in the area of public international law. However, it also caters for those seeking to expand and apply their knowledge of this area of study, and is an ideal preparation for those wishing to pursue more advanced research. You will undertake two compulsory modules in social science research, covering epistemology, research design, and qualitative methods as well as quantitative methods and data. You will then select from a substantial list of existing elective modules developed for the LLM in Public International Law. Please note that not all modules will be available in any given year.
