Perfect your big idea and learn how to launch it internationally.
Whether you’re entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial, you intend to start a new venture, run a creative organisation or take a family business to the next level, having the right attitude and mindset is essential. But this can't happen in a classroom environment alone – you need to get your ideas out there, fail early and often, and develop resilience and confidence. That’s where we come in.
The global business landscape has continued to undergo a profound transformation over the last few years, with entrepreneurship emerging as a driving force behind business innovation, economic growth, and job creation. This course covers the art and science of entrepreneurship, and teaches you how to enhance your enterprise acumen, so you can become successful in any field you choose.
Working with classmates, you’ll have opportunities to collaborate, test ideas, and learn how to solve complex enterprise-related problems – investigating different business models (from start-ups to high-growth organisations) and recent case studies. You’ll also explore current theories, methods and the psychological and cognitive aspects of entrepreneurship.
As an entrepreneur, you must always be ready to talk about your vision. Working on hypothetical new start-ups, you’ll learn how to successfully communicate your ideas and attract potential stakeholders and industry partners. You’ll also learn how to determine managerial and resource priorities to enable your enterprise to operate efficiently, ethically, sustainably and successfully.
You’ll graduate as a creative, collaborative, culturally versatile and entrepreneurial-minded individual, able to develop robust, scalable and adaptable business models that can thrive in an uncertain future – and lead global teams that are curious, innovative, environmentally conscious and digitally-savvy.
