Our MA Management courses provide theoretical and practical insights into business management functions, while allowing you to delve deeper into one specialist field.
Managing people, budgets and processes wisely is both an art and a science. On this course, you’ll unlock your potential as a marketing leader and innovator – learning tools and techniques to develop teams and processes, inspire confidence and become a catalyst for change in the UK and overseas.
This course has been designed to be relevant to students from anywhere in the world, at any stage of their career, who want to find new ways to navigate challenges and improve their management skillset. You’ll graduate not only with a nuanced understanding of marketing, but also a deep understanding of the different management roles and responsibilities.
You’ll gain an advanced understanding of different leadership styles and effective people management, as well as the principles underpinning general marketing management via simulations and workshops – mastering the art of resolving conflict and managing change, while emphasising the application of skills in real-world situations. You’ll also gain strategies to inspire trust and personal growth – developing your own unique management style based on your individual qualities.
Alongside this, you’ll build on your marketing knowledge – learning how to speak to your audience, use creative marketing functions, build integrated strategies and respond to constant changes. Working with academics, peers and influential industry guests, you’ll gain hands-on experience in building and running promotional campaigns and gathering consumer feedback – as well as learning how to plan strategically, manage resources, handle conflicting needs and make decisions with greater efficiency and reduced friction.
You’ll also gain insights into the frameworks associated with advertising, public relations, sponsorship, promotional incentives, word of mouth, audience segmentation and more.
