Why choose this course?
The MA International Theatre Practice and Performance aims to inspire the theatre and performance artists of tomorrow and appeal to those committed to the creation of their own work – whether as actors, directors or writers for the stage. The journey of the programme cover all three areas.
The programme is rigorous, intensive, comprehensive and practical, integrating a deep curiosity for life with a passion for theatre and performance. Students will undertake a profound practical investigation into contemporary performance, directing and writing, and their relationship to making new theatre and performance creation. In doing so this opens up the space for the development of innovative new practice and knowledge as well as creating original fusions between cutting edge technologies, current scientific knowledge and global social and political movements through the medium of performance and theatre.
