Our world-leading technology has contributed to many exciting projects, including aerodynamics for the current world land-speed record car, Thrust SSC, and the future land-speed record car BLOODHOUND SSC and design of the double-decker super-jet Airbus A380. We are seen as a leader in many aspects of aerospace, both internationally and in the UK. We pride ourselves in the extensive collaborations with international companies such as: BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, EADS and Airbus. Research within Engineering at Swansea University is multidisciplinary in nature, incorporating our strengths in research areas across the engineering disciplines. Computational mechanics forms the basis for the majority of the MSc by Research projects within these engineering disciplines.
