Recognising that today's complex global challenges, such as climate change, healthcare, and urbanisation, demand integrated solutions, the MSc by Research in Modelling, Data and AI brings together research in diverse fields, including mathematics, engineering, computer science, and artificial intelligence.

This degree is a fully research-based MSc programme, which also includes training in modelling, data, and AI technologies, and allows you to become a member of a vibrant research community, participating in activities such as seminars, academic conferences, entrepreneurial workshops, and industrial forums.

The programme is hosted by the renowned Zienkiewicz Institute for Modelling, Data, and AI, and draws on the expertise of over 160 academics from across the University. It offers students the unique opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary research across disciplines affiliated with the Institute, in Science & Engineering, Humanities & Social Sciences, and Medicine, Health & Life Science. By fostering an environment where students can engage with experts from a variety of disciplines, we aim to encourage creative problem-solving and the application of cutting-edge research.
