Our MSc Strategic Accounting programme at Swansea University aims to improve your career opportunities and help fast track you into a fantastic career anywhere in the world.

You will already have a relevant first degree and have passed your ACCA (the Association for Chartered Certified Accountants) Fundamental papers. As part of this programme, you will be taught the latest theories and practices and how to apply them as an accountancy professional, while we prepare you for the ACCA Professional examinations*.

Students must register with ACCA in order to be eligible for ACCA Professional exams. Additional fees apply - see 'Additional Costs' section below for more information.

You will be part of a global professional body with a reputation for driving standards of professionalism, ethics, integrity and accountability. After you’ve qualified and worked for three years you can use the ACCA letters after your name.

Modules

The module requires an independently researched analysis of an accounting related topic (as appropriate to the programme the student is undertaking). It is intended to provide a degree of synthesis of the various course components. The student should be able to demonstrate he/she is able to apply knowledge and skills gained and that he/she has an understanding of the wider context of the programme of study undertaken.

Entry requirements

Students must attain a minimum 2:2 (or overseas equivalent) in an Accounting and Finance related undergraduate degree with the relevant exemptions from ACCA F1 to F9 papers.
