This skillset may not be developed without extensive study and a solid understanding of the economic, financial, legal and regulatory theories and practices supporting the operation of global finance.

Modules

The dissertation is an extended piece of scholarship in which a student is expected to formulate and sustain a substantive piece of research. The student is expected to engage critically and analytically with the literature in the field, building upon relevant concepts and theory covered in the taught element of the degree and deploying a range of primary and secondary sources, comparative and bibliographic skills. Each student will be allocated a research supervisor in the second semester.

Entry requirements

A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in law, finance, accounting, management or business studies.

In evaluating your application for postgraduate study, greater emphasis may be placed upon results of prior learning in subjects relevant to the intended degree programme.
