Providing expertise across a wide range of management topics and approaches, including strategic management; entrepreneurship; innovation; international management; corporate governance; organisational behaviour; technology and work; gender, work and organisations; consumer behaviour; operations research and business data analytics; critical marketing and critical business management studies.
Business Management is located within an integrated Business School which allows it to draw upon relevant core disciplines for research and teaching.
Research programmes have been funded by the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC), Nuffield, Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), Scottish Home and Health Department, DTI and by a range of industrial and commercial sponsors.
The Department is also home to The Africa-Asia Centre for Sustainability research centre.
