Course Summary

Overview

This programme aims to help meet the increasing demand for advanced clinical practitioners in radiography who can safely undertake expert clinical practice, and inform clinical decision-making across the NHS and the independent (private) sector.

It's been designed to develop your skills in complex reasoning, critical thinking and analysis, and meet the requirements needed to undertake enhanced and advanced clinical practice roles.

Learning and assessment

This programme will:

Entry requirements

Students must: hold a BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) qualification, hold registration as a radiographer with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), have managerial support for their studies, including a commitment that appropriate facilities, relevant clinical experience and time (average 15 hours per week) will be made available to support your studies, have an identified educational supervisor (radiologist or experienced advanced/consultant radiographer) in practice that can support you.
