Masters Degree Apprenticeship at Level 7
Legal Practice
Taught
If you’ve already completed an LLB law degree or a Graduate Diploma in Law, then the MProf in Legal Practice will build upon your existing legal education. And is the next step to becoming a qualified Solicitor.
The two-year Professional Masters programme is designed for people who wish to qualify as a solicitor. It is a non-integrated Higher Level Apprenticeship (HLA) pathway, designed to deliver the Solicitor Apprenticeship qualification.
Designed for those who have completed an LLB law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law. The MProf course gives you the additional knowledge required to undertake the Solicitors Regulation Authorities (SRA’s) central Solicitor Qualification Exams (SQE 1 & 2). Which allow you to qualify as a Solicitor through our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme.
This course provides you with an opportunity to develop your work-based skills and behaviours – the ‘solicitor competences’ – required of a solicitor in legal practice and provides an accelerated route to qualification through the Solicitor Apprenticeship. For those who do not have a degree-level legal qualification but wish to undertake the Solicitor Apprenticeship then our 5 year part-time LLB in Legal Practice is the route to take.
