The Centre for History and Public Engagement with the Past [link] brings together historians with researchers from other disciplines interested in historical events. Our main areas are labour & people’s history, international history, and public history and heritage.

Through our heritage network we have supported many historical projects and commemorations in the north-west region and beyond, in partnership with a variety of other institutions and community projects.
