Modules

This module aims to introduce you to the field of applied sport and exercise psychology. The content of the module focuses on the introduction of psychological interventions developed from relevant psychological models or theories, to aid you in recognising common psychological issues/disorders experienced by individuals in sport and exercise settings, such as performance anxiety or exercise addiction. The theoretical grounding will enable you to implement those practical skills relevant to their scope of professional practice. Issues of ethical and professional conduct in the practice of sport and exercise psychology will also be covered.

Applicants should hold at least 2:2 degree in related subject. Applicants must hold Bachelor of medicine bachelor of surgery qualification or relevant professional qualification in related field such as Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy.
