Course Summary

Course Summary

The MBA (Digital Marketing) is a digital marketing analytics pathway through our dynamic and contemporary MBA degree - designed to produce marketing business leaders of the future. The rapidly changing business contexts, technological advancements and social transformations, means marketing practices now rely heavily upon analysis and interpretation of digital data.

This pathway seeks to develop the numerical and analytical skills needed to be able to decipher data sets that are of relevance to marketers. It develops a specific focus upon two key areas in its design – big data and customer relationship management. This enables marketers to make sense of data and aid marketing decision making. The programme will greatly benefit those with strong numerical skills and an aptitude for qualitative and quantitative data analysis relevant to business decision making. Our course is flexible and accessible. Full-time students attend during the day while part-time students attend during the evenings so you can tailor your attendance around your availability.

Everything on our MBA is geared towards your career development, ensuring you graduate with a clearer vision of your future; it’s accredited by the Chartered Management Institute, so you can be sure you’re learning the leadership skills that employers really need, and our expert staff have the depth of knowledge to turn your passion and ambition into a realisable goal.

The business magazine, Forbes, has calculated that successful MBA graduates pay back the cost of their qualifications within four to five years on average – with lifetime earnings greatly enhanced thanks to the qualification.

Studying for your MBA with us should enhance your employability and earning power and develop your ability to approach business problems in a strategic manner. As part of the course, you’ll study a specialised ‘Professional Development’ module that is specifically designed to help you boost your career prospects and make the most of your MBA in the employment market.

Modules

In this module, you will develop key marketing management skills and techniques for the development of professional marketing consultancy. You will be assigned an academic supervisor to help you develop your marketing plan for the client, working with them for a minimum of six face-to-face hours for the duration of the academic term. You will work through the entire marketing planning process in terms of marketing audits, customer audit, objective setting, marketing mix elements, marketing measurement, implementation and control. It is envisaged that this module will provide students with a managerial yet academically rigorous capstone project and will develop their skills in the areas of marketing planning, project management, digital marketing strategy and professional consultancy.
