The course will equip you with the computation, mathematical, business and financial views of blockchain and financial technologies. After successfully completing the course you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of theoretical as well as application of blockchain and financial technologies.The MSc Blockchain and Financial Technologies will offer a number of core modules including a dissertation and a limited number of optional modules to enable students who wish to pursue specialisms in areas such as blockchain, cryptocurrencies, fintech, AI systems in finance, cyber security and data analytics in finance and businesses.You will be assessed using a mixture of practical coursework and a theory exam.Coursework can take a variety of forms, including laboratory work, data analysis and oral presentations.The research dissertation is assessed on a final written report, a poster presentation and a practical component.Our specialist laboratories have everything you will need to develop a thorough critical understanding and gain valuable hands-on experience in a wide range of emerging technologies.
