Asset management is the means of ensuring that people, systems, processes, and resources which deliver a construction project, are in place, in use, and fit for purpose over the project's lifecycle. Application of asset management practice helps to ensure that a project not only delivers working assets when you hand the project over to operations but delivers sustainable, longer-term benefits and manages asset risks throughout their life. This specialist course will enable graduates to competently manage and coordinate physical assets to optimum effect using the most advanced available digital technologies with the University's commitment towards Vision 2028.MSc Construction Asset Management with Digital Technologies is focused on developing the breadth of technical expertise required by a student to effectively manage physical assets using the most relevant digital resources. The course is intended for applicants who may have some employment experience in the area of asset management, and are seeking to progress, or redirect, their career in the industry by gaining a master's level qualification in management discipline that is directly relevant to their future career plans.All modules include coursework, for which you will have opportunities to apply your knowledge to engineering projects based on real-life scenarios. The coursework will include analysis and design projects, research reports, group and seminar presentations, and a research dissertation project. Bachelor's degree with minimum Second Class (2:2) or equivalent in Theatre/Performance studies or related subject.We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.
