Research overview

Our location in the South West enables us to undertake undertake a wide range of biological science research, from cell and molecular biology, microbiology and biochemistry through to evolutionary, environmental, ecological and conservation studies. Our research groups reflect the interests and expertise of our staff, ensuring that we are able to optimise the knowledge of our academic experts.

Our research is organised into seven distinct research groupings:
