The course will offer an overview of strategic management, with a particular focus on the complexity of the environment, organisational change and the challenges organisations face when developing strategic capabilities and competitive advantage. The course will offer an overview of strategic management concepts and current debates. It will equip participants with tools and techniques to allow them a critical approach in formulating, implementing and assessing strategies and strategic options as well as the resources and capabilities needed to develop a competitive advantage for public, private or third sector organisations.

2.1 Honours degree or non-UK equivalent in any subject and a minimum of 3 years managerial work experience.
