However, uncontrolled regenerative power can lead to diseases like cancer, with far reaching impact to overall health. The Tissue Regeneration and Cancer MSc Research Programme, hosted by the School of Cancer Sciences, will deliver high quality research, training and mentorship to excellent and ambitious students interested in cancer research, including- but not limited to- its intersection with stem cell biology, immunity, metabolism, development, regenerative biology, and behavioural science. The College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences provides a vibrant, supportive and stimulating environment for all our postgraduate students. We aim to provide excellent support for our postgraduates through dedicated postgraduate convenors, highly trained supervisors and pastoral support for each student. Our overarching aim is to provide a research training environment that includes: provision of excellent facilities and cutting edge techniques, training in essential, research and generic skills, excellence in supervision and mentoring, interactive discussion groups and seminars.
