Our flexible Master’s in Facilities Management by distance learning will help you respond to the needs of different organisations to make the best use of commercial and business property.

This MSc in Facilities Management recognises the broad and diverse nature of the facilities management role and allows you to tailor your studies to your needs and interests. You'll develop a holistic view of the corporate environment and enhance your expertise in key areas. You can also work on transferable skills including telecommunications and IT.

Our Facilities Management course was developed in response to growing industry demand for graduates with a suitable range of skills. The course aims to grow your ability to co-ordinate physical workspace with the people and organisation involved, allowing the efficient and effective use of business-related property.

Modules

• To introduce students to the concept of critical thinking and to its role in clarifying and improving understanding of complex situations. • To equip the student with strategies and techniques to critically analyse and evaluate the work of others. • To equip students with techniques for drawing inferences and constructing arguments from secondary and incomplete data sources.

Fee for 2024/25 entry is: £1,850 per 30 credits. There might be slight increase in fee for 2025/26 entry.

Entry requirements

You need an honours degree 2:2 or above or an equivalent qualification in a built environment discipline such as civil engineering, construction, surveying or architecture. We will consider other undergraduate degrees on an individual basis.
