We offer advanced research training opportunities across a broad range of areas, including mathematics, statistics data science, and numerical analysis.

Research activities are supported by three world-class research centres:

  • the Centre for Sustainable Cybersecurity
  • ,
  • the Centre for Safety, resilience and Protective Security
  • and
  • the Centre for Advanced Simulation and Modelling.
  • You will initiate and interpret new knowledge, led by your understanding of a substantial body of knowledge in your academic discipline. Recent projects by our research students span an incredibly diverse range of topics including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics and Pure/Applied Mathematics. Once you complete your training, you'll be ideally suited to work in academic or industrial research environments.
