This course adds value to your existing credentials by giving you a deeper knowledge and understanding of the principles applied in modern workplaces. It leaves you well placed for a wide range of careers, including finance, law, Government, arts, media and the voluntary sector, to name but a few.

Career support

Whether you’re progressing from education or currently working within the industry, our postgraduate courses aim to provide you with the required knowledge, skills and experience; as well as challenge your approach to complex situations. By providing practical project experience, team working opportunities and specialist knowledge of your chosen pathway, we can help develop your ability to work collaboratively and apply theory to real-life situations.

Career options cover the breadth of economic activity. For example, graduates have gone on to working as Financial Analysts, Economists, Stockbrokers, Market Researchers and Investment Analysts in companies such as The Cooperative Group, Barclays and Nuffield Health.

Modules

The Professional Practice module gives you an opportunity to reflect on your personal and professional development and put theory into practice through professional work experience. This route must be chosen at the point of application by selecting the specific (Professional Practice) route as the placement adds a further 6 months to your duration of study. Due to the competitive nature of the placement route the Professional Practice course has limited availability and places are capped.
