Study this postgraduate certificate and upskill to become a leader in Adolescent Sports Medicine. We’ll teach you evidence-based practice to deliver safe and effective care to young athletes engaging in sport. Our course includes a contemporary collection of modules and optional modules to suit practitioners who are already working with young athletes or are wanting to work in this field. We’ll enhance your skills with designing young athlete development programmes and management of common adolescent and growth-related injuries. The programme is designed for general practitioners, physiotherapists, sports therapists, sports rehabilitators and strength and conditioning coaches. Future careers Our PGCert in Adolescent Sports Medicine will enable you to pursue a career in this field from grass roots sport to professional sport organisations. Our Adolescent Sports Medicine graduates work as Academy Sports Medicine practitioners to provide effective long-term athletic development programmes to a variety of team and individual sports. Many work within clubs, teams and organisations to provide support to recreational, amateur and professional aspiring athletes.
