Course info

The Climate Science and Impacts group plays a major role in developing and exploiting state-of-the-art observations and modelling tools of the climate, including new satellite observations, climate and Earth system models, land surface and crop models. We have leading roles in major international science projects, including the European Space Agency CryoSat mission and climate modelling activities within the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project and the Paleoclimate Model Intercomparison Project. A wide range of excellent atmospheric science research which takes place in Leeds, much of it within ICAS. Many ICAS staff and students are also members of the new Priestley International Centre for Climate, which is located within our building.
