Course info

The Professional Ethics research theme explores ethics in sectors like finance, law, engineering, and government, often through commissioned research projects. Our consultancy and training team carries out commissioned research, with past work including projects for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, as well as the Banking Standards Board. Research topics include integrity for organisations and professionalism in banking, parliamentary ethics, and AI and automation in the banking sector. Our work in these areas innovatively combines empirical (quantitative and qualitative) research methods with philosophical enquiry.
