Affiliated status is granted to institutions whose degree programmes incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). This provides a solid grounding in the CBOK, which positions students well should they plan to sit the CFA exams.The CFA qualification is a globally recognised industry designation and affiliated universities are seen as a desirable postgraduate destination, offering programmes that provide a strong foundation in all aspects of finance and a practical knowledge of the finance sector.
