MPH Master of Public Health (Global Health Pathway)

Our new Global Public Health pathway offers a critical, in-depth overview of public health challenges that transcend national and species boundaries through a critical analysis of their epidemiological, socio-economic, cultural, and political determinants. The Master of Public Health (MPH) programme is available to any applicant with a UK Honours degree with a minimum 2:2 or an equivalent international qualification.

We also encourage applications from students enrolled in clinical programs who wish to intercalate as part of their studies. These applicants must demonstrate successful completion of 3 years of a GMC/GDC recognised undergraduate basic medical education (medicine or dentistry) degree programme (e.g. MBChB).

Candidates who do not meet the formal academic requirements but possess substantial relevant professional experience will be considered on an individual basis by the Programme Director.

All applicants should be also able to demonstrate evidence of work experience (paid, voluntary, internships, etc.) relevant to public health.

All applicants will also need to provide a personal statement detailing why they wish to undertake the programme and how their work experience is relevant to the programme.
