Course Summary

MSc Geographical Information Science focuses on the multi-disciplinary science concerned with the development and application of geographical information science technologies. This unit is designed to support students through the process of planning and executing their dissertation. Students will receive skills training specific to dissertation research including research methods, research design, project planning, ethics, and risk assessment. There will also be several sessions from recent alumni who will talk to current students about the role of research in their careers.
