Note that while sonography is not a registerable healthcare profession, and the title 'sonographer' is not protected, many organisations, including some NHS Trusts and private entities, do employ sonographers from diverse backgrounds.You will:Receive training in clinical ultrasound to meet the increasing demand for this imaging tool.Benefit from a flexible part-time pathway that suits a wide range of healthcare professionals.Gain competence in ultrasound practice through evidence of clinical competency upon completion of the programme or individual modules.Please note: Employment in some NHS Trusts and private organisations may require professional registration, which might be a barrier for those from non-healthcare backgrounds.
