Course info

The group is interested in all aspects of modern macroeconomics, both applied and theoretical. The group organises an annual workshop. Meetings focus on ideas for new research and working towards grant applications.This research theme includes a wide range of work that looks at the economy as a whole on a national or international level. Our current macroeconomic and finance research focuses on comparing national economies, business cycles and shocks, exchange rates and trade flows. Our development economics research looks to understand the systems of developing countries including alleviating poverty, improving access to credit and allocation of aid.
