Course info

Our researchers and teaching staff draw on modern European languages as a source of data to understand the way language works and how it is practised in the wider world. Amongst the languages we work on are: Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Luxembourgish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Our work is data-driven; it is informed by usage-based linguistic theories and approaches, challenging them and developing them further.
