The Mental Health Research Unit (MHRU) is a research group based in the Sheffield Centre for Health and Related Research (SCHARR).MHRU researchers undertake mental health research which focuses on the needs of those who experience both common and serious mental health difficulties and the services providing treatment and support. MHRU staff deliver teaching across many programmes in the School of Medicine and Population Health, including MBChB and several postgraduate modules and courses. We also supervise numerous Undergraduate and Masters research placements and dissertations, as well as PhD students.
