The MSc Leadership and Management has been designed for professionals working at middle to senior management level, who are seeking to enhance the knowledge and skills required for effective leadership and management in the complex, dynamic environments faced by organisations across all sectors today.
This postgraduate course can immediately add value to your working practice and to your organisation. You will be supported to build your knowledge and skills so that you can research effectively, develop strategy, lead and manage change and build a culture of high performance.
The Leadership and Management course adopts a philosophy of continuing professional development, where you will undertake work-based projects and complete an extensive work-based dissertation, to be of strategic value to your organisation. This course has been designed to offer a dual accreditation route with the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 7 Diploma in Leadership and Management - a pioneering approach within the UK. Delivered on a part-time basis only, you will study with students from a variety of backgrounds at weekend sessions, normally delivered over three years. Students can fast and slow track if required.
Assessment
There are no examinations and all modules are assessed through course work. Assessments are work-based so students should normally be in work to undertake the course.

A minimum 2:2 Honours degree or an equivalent qualification, and have at least 2 years significant leadership or management/matrix management experience. Applicants who are also on an accelerated graduate scheme will also be considered. Applicants may be required to attend an interview. Assessments are work-based so the course is only available part-time and students should normally be in an appropriate professional role to undertake the live work-based projects on the course.
