The Postgraduate Certificate Leadership and Management are aimed at those who want to develop their practical and theoretical of leadership and management in a variety of educational contexts.
It is suitable for those who aspire to leadership positions, as well as those who already working in the leadership and management of schools.
The course is carefully interwoven with practice of leadership and management in education, and its content is directly applicable to a wide variety of educational contexts.
It is an excellent opportunity for practitioners at all levels to reflect upon the leadership challenges that they currently experience, and to critically examine their perceptions of what characterises effective leadership and management.
Assessment
Each module is assessed by a 5,000 word assignment. The precise title of the assignment is generally negotiated and agreed between tutor and student to make sure that it complements the student’s interests and context as closely as possible.
