  • We welcome research proposals in all the areas our faculty specialise in.

For a PhD, your research work makes a substantial original contribution to knowledge or understanding in your chosen field.

Degree requirements: You’re normally expected to have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in engineering or physics. You may also be considered for the degree if you can show evidence of suitable qualifications or work experience.
