You will learn how robotics can be used to create art and performances, while critically examining the ethical implications and societal impact of robotic technologies.You will develop advanced skills in programming languages such as Python and C++, and work with robotic open development frameworks such as ROS (Robot Operating System) to design, build, and test complex robotic systems.Through hands-on projects, you will design and build creative robotic systems, fostering a practical understanding of hardware and software integration. You will master digital fabrication techniques to design and construct robotic components, equipping you with the tools to bring your creative visions to life. Additionally, you will work with industrial-standard robots, including robotic arms and humanoids, gaining practical experience in programming and deploying systems used across various industries.Furthermore, you will explore how concepts of embodiment from philosophy, neuroscience and cognitive science have influenced the design of a robot’s body, mind, and environment in tandem.
