Studying a PGCert in the field of Automotive Engineering will enable you to develop the specific expertise required in the design, development, engineering, manufacturing and optimisation of vehicles. The course has a good mix of theoretical and practical taught elements as well as excellent Automotive specific project opportunities, Automotive specific assignment work and modules which cover a wide range of Automotive related subjects while still enabling the student to tailor their study to their own needs and career aspirations. As a natural development of the success of the Automotive Engineering undergraduate programmes offered by UWTSD, the latest Masters programme aims to develop your understanding further, based upon the strong links between the University and the Industry. The Automotive degree schemes allow students the opportunity to experience the world of Automotive engineering and development with a mix of applied and theoretical learning. Grounded by mechanical engineering principles, students develop these themes with a particular focus on vehicle engineering and manufacture through applied examples and projects.
