A PhD in Forensic Science offers the chance to conduct novel research under the supervision of a team of leading experts in the field based at the University of West London (UWL).Forensic science research spans a range of topics and areas from biological and chemical sciences to technological advances in crime detection and improving support and processes related to crime scene investigation.Our supervisors have strong research backgrounds with key areas of focus including forensic toxicology, crime scene investigation and management, forensic impressions, and humanitarian forensics.Applications are invited for research in the areas indicated below.
