Expert mentoring and supervision is provided by internationally-recognised professor-level senior consultants who are members of the University’s Clinical Medicine Research Centre (CMRC) within the School of Medicine and Clinical Practice (SMCP).What happens on the course?This course aims to provide advanced clinical research skills and training to assist the students in pursuing their career in medicine and to enhance their patient-care in a manner that is informed by an in-depth understanding of the research evidence underpinning their chosen speciality. You will undertake a two year research project and produce a thesis which is examined in a viva in the same way as for a PhD.
