The MSc in Human Sciences (by thesis) is ideal for you if you want to get involved in postgraduate research, and obtain the skills to progress to a PhD or MD. The MSc by thesis gives you an opportunity to conduct an independent research project. You can work in a wide range of areas. Our current students are researching topics as diverse as cardiac function in high-risk surgical patients, enteral nutrition for pre-term infants, the correlation of vitamin D with genotype in populations, interprofessional health education, the identification and management of delirium in palliative care, and dental evolution in humans. Throughout your degree, you will be supervised by a leading expert in the field and supported by a Hull York Medical School Thesis Advisory Panel.
