The scope of our School's research is extraordinarily diverse, encompassing the literatures of medieval England and continental Europe from late antiquity to around 1500. Our linguistic expertise covers Arabic, Latin, Old Norse, French, Irish, Italian and Welsh as well as Old and Middle English.
